“Advocacy with Anonymity”
“I’m a member of a Twelve Step program. I would like to get involved with your organization, but I don’t see how I can without breaking the Twelve Traditions.”
Often members of Twelve Step programs are hesitant to get involved with advocacy groups because they feel that the principle of anonymity prohibits it. Rest assured, it is possible to get involved in advocacy without breaking anonymity. Attached you will find a pamphlet titled “Advocacy with Anonymity”. This pamphlet provides members of Twelve Step programs information on how to get involved and still stay within the boundaries set forth by the Twelve Traditions.
