Addiction is a disease that can be treated

As a person living in long-term recovery from my addition, over 28 continuous years, I know treatment and recovery are possible! I also know that if we don't define ourselves then someone else will. And how will that be? Crack whore - alcohol abuser - speed freak - dipsomaniac? Or someone's daughter, son, wife, husband, father, mother, sister, brother, partner, colleague, employee who, as Dr. Volkow said, "...has a treatable disease, and it needs to be understood"? It's up to all concerned people in this country to speak up! There are many ways that you can get involved. If you're interested, give us a call.
